The slow emergence of the percussive element in the track Abacus, growing in volume and followed by rhythmic, syncopated deep bass tones makes for a lush soundscape; deep and hypnotic. The measured strokes of a melodically reverberating keyboard, reminiscent of a harp, plucked and quickly muted provide lovely acoustic stairways to follow. Anything but ambient, engaging. The perfect downtempo album. Relaxing, but groovy. Catchy but endlessly listenable. Can't get enough of this and don't see it leaving my rotation any time soon. mangopop
